Quadruple Challenge Card

Well I just love how this card has turned out. This card is for my sister's birthday, I had made her one but I am not happy with it so I decided to make her another and am glad I did.

Card Recipe

  • Stamp: Dimension Fourth - Twinkle Garland Large
  • Papers/inserts: Bearly Mine Designs - Designer Extreme and Designer Inserts Extreme
  • Card: White hammer A3 - Paper Mill Shop; Silver Mirror/purple holographic - Stash
  • Flowers: Stash
  • Brads: Dovecraft
  • Peel Off Greeting: Craft Creations
  • Stickles Giltter Glue: Star Dust, Fruit Punch
  • Ribbon: Dovecraft
  • Colouring Medium: WHSmith Watercolour pencils.

This is the first time I have used the Designer Extreme disks and I must say they are lovely. The insert disk is brilliant, I feel they just make your card look that bit more special.

Altered Flower Box

Well this is my project from this afternoon. I have altered a flowerbox which I received a lovely bunch of flowers in from my colleagues at work. As I was sorting the flowers out to go in the bin I thought it was a shame to throw the box out too as it is very strong. Therefore as it is my sisters birthday at the weekend I thought it would be nice to use as the box for her present, however I though it would be better if it had my twist on. Mind you I did have a few happy accidents along the way but I am pleased with the way it has turned out now. It seems to be my time for happy accidents at the moment lol.

This is the box as it was before:

And as it is now:

Recipie

  • Flowers: Petaloo Mulberry Embossed Flowers
  • Brads: Stash
  • Card: Gold Mirror - Stash
  • Ribbon: Dovecraft
  • Sentiment: Computerised
  • Tools: Cuttlebug, nestabilities

Thanks for stopping by.

My first Willow Sketchie Challenge Entry

Well this is a card I made on Thursday for the Willow Sketchie 9th July Challenge but didn't get round to posting. I haven't used any Willow products before or entered one of their challenges even though I came across them a while ago. On Thursday I downloaded some of there products and thought I would join in with their sketch. I have mirrored the sketch by I must admit this was a happy accident as I put the ribbon in the wrong place on my cuttlebuged backing card lol. I think it still works though. Hope you like. I think these owls are so cute!!!

It's a Crafter's Companion Challenge #2

I can't beleive it's time for our second challenge over on It's a Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog. It was my turn for the sketch this time and I also decided to also set a theme. I thought as school's out and uni folk had finished it would be good to make a card for a child/young adult. The card could be made for a birthday, driving test pass, graduation, etc. I decided to make a kid's birthday card.

Here is the sketch
And my card

Why not go over and check the blog out, we also have a guest design team place available, you never know it might be your card which wins!!!
